COVID-19 and our school-based programmes

Written by Jim Feenan on 21/01/2021

We are rapidly approaching a year since the first COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions came into force in Scotland.   In that time we have been following the First Minister’s updates and the guidelines issued by Scottish Government, JudoScotland and ActiveSchoolsFife to ensure the safety of our partners, Carnegie Judo Club and Fudog MMA in Dunfermline and the Glenrothes Martial Arts Centre Glenrothes and all the coaches and volunteers, school pupils and their support teachers.

Given the current restrictions, it is unlikely that we will be resuming any school-based Judo, mobility or fitness sessions until after Easter 2021 and that will be subject to the rollout of vaccinations and the current restrictions being eased.

Like everyone, we look forward to a return to some form of normality.  In the meantime please keep safe and well.
