Written by Jim Feenan on 07/04/2020

We were delighted to return to Holyrood on 4th February 2020 as guests of Sported.   Two young players from Carnegie Judo Club gave a short demonstration of judo techniques and principles used by Fighting Chance Project (Scotland) and our partner clubs and coaches to bring the benefits of sport and specifically judo to young people who may be described as having social, emotional or behavioural (SEB) issues or other additional support needs (ASN).

“Helping community groups survive, to help young people thrive.”   Sported is a charity that exists to help the inspirational people who are working every day to improve the lives of young people and tackle the problems that matter in their local community.  Specialising in supporting the survival and growth of local community organisations using Sport for Development.  As a member group,  the Fighting Chance Project (Scotland) are grateful for the help and support we were given by the Sported team of mentors and experts.
